Start Independence Day with one of the South Bay’s favorite traditions - a festive morning of racing, walking, and family fun for all ages. Register online by clicking the button below, or by printing and mailing in the printable form pictured below.
Bib Pickup and Late Registration Info

Pick up your race bib, t-shirt and goodie bag at HT Grill in Redondo Beach, just a block away from Village Runner! Late registration will also be open if you still need to sign up!

Bib pick-up and late registration are also available race morning beginning at 6:30am behind the starting line on S. Catalina Ave. between Palos Verdes Blvd. and S. Elena Ave.

Age divisions medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place female and male 5k finishers in the following age divisions:
8 & Under 30-34 55-59
9-12 35-39 60-64
13-17 40-44 65-69
18-24 45-49 70-74
25-29 50-54 75-79

All registered kids participating in the kid's dash receive a race medal.

The race course starts and finishes on Catalina Ave. near Palos Verdes Blvd. A water station will be located near the Elks Lodge near Catalina Ave. and Torrance Blvd. at the turnaround point.

Riviera Village has ample parking in the “triangle parking lot” located between Avenida Del Norte and S. Elena Street as well as individual spots on all streets. There is also ample paid parking available at the large lot near Miramar Park located along Paseo De La Playa.

Join in on the Costume Contest near the starting line at 7:15am. Enter with your patriotic best for a chance to win the following prizes:
1st Place – $100 gift certificate to the Village Runner

After the race, participants are invited to continue the celebration at HT Grill, located a block away from the race finish. Race participants can show their official race bib to receive 20% off their order on race day!

Celebrate and give back to our local students. The Village Runner Independence Day 5K directly benefits the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation and other local schools and running programs. A portion of YOUR registration fee from this race goes to these deserving groups each year.
